About Us

We are Gene and Darlene, a retired couple in our 60s who love to travel. Darlene is a retired flight attendant for a major carrier, and Gene is a retired truck driver for a major freight company.

We have two beautiful daughters, a son in heaven and a bonus daughter that lives in Japan. We are the proud grandparents of twelve grandchildren, nine of them being biological and three bonus grandchildren.

We sold our home in Washington State, moved away from our children and grandchildren which was not easy and moved to Florida for retirement.

Now after four years of living in the sunshine state, we have decided to sell everything we own including our home to travel the world full time.

We have always loved to travel and have already been to 40 U.S States and 16 countries.

We have talked about doing full time travel for several years and after living here in Florida for three and a half years we’ve decided that if we are ever going to do this then the time is now, so we are selling everything we own, giving things to our children and donating the rest so we can travel full time.

We really hope our journey encourages those of you who are thinking about doing something like this to just go for it.
